I can't understand why so many people left at halftime. We were down FOUR FREAKIN' POINTS, people, against a conference rival, and you missed THREE Willis TD throws. That's pitiful. There's plenty of time to go drink afterward.

Justin has also shown that we have several other talented offensive players that come to mind such as Emanuel Sanders etc. Now if we could just get most of those season ticket holders to show up along with just a few college football fans ........ We promise it is NOT BORING anymore.

I had mentioned earlier this season that I like his leadership. And that was reflected when he took the field. The reaction was extraordinary.

The crowd gave him a standing ovation (hopefully, he's learned his lesson and will take advantage of this second chance), and the reaction of the team was really cool.

My seats are right behind the bench, and it was almost it was a transformation. There was an energy that flowed through the team.

Every time he's on the field this season, you can believe your team has a chance to win. That's what difference makers/leaders do.

One other thing, can anybody believe with all the turmoil Justin Willis had to go though this past week with only one day of practice after being reinstated and he did not play until the third offensive series of the game Saturday, Willis still passed for 20 of 23 and 4 TOUCHDOWNS ? INCREDIBLE ! !

So much for the theory of practice time. Hard to imagine J-Will performing much better (fumble excluded) if he had taken all the reps in practice this week. I especially liked the way he handled himself on the sideline both before and after he came into the game. He is playing the game in a way that's fun to watch. He's having FUN out there.

Also noticed that he and Slater talked during the game. Slater pointing things out and high fiving Willis. TEAM MATES working for a common goal.

Bus, were you the big red foam finger guy sitting down in front of me? I've got one of those from the '70s somewhere and I need to dig it out.

I think the fact that Willis played so well without much practice time is reflective of the fact that he is a true football player and competitor -- getting back on the field where he could focus on his game was probably a welcome relief from a week of turmoil, speculation, etc.

What I like about JW is that he seems to be developing into a qb that spreads the ball around. 7 different receivers yesterday.

But his height and arm strenght are still in question.

He looked good yesterday. I was kinda hoping hat we'd tried to pack him up and bring him back to Huntington with us. I'm losing faith in our QB weekly. Good win you guys. As Coach Snyder said, SMU finished and we didn't. Good luck with the reat of the year, and find a way to get some butts in those seats.
