We learned today without question that SMU will have a very good football team this year as they take one game at a time for the rest of the season. Forget the past, the fact is these guys are FUN TO WATCH ! All of us there today know this and they deserve all of our support. Just pass the word that these games are a lot of FUN. Show up Mustang fans and enjoy our team's success. We all deserve it. Our team deserves it.

For those of us who have been around since 1989, this team is such a treat to watch. It's no longer "oh no ... now what?" Now it's "hang on, we'll come up with something..." It's getting to where I expect the Ponies to come up with whatever play is needed.

westex is right - we need everyone to come out. DRAG your friends, roommates, neighbors, etc. This team is entertaining as hell it's going to keep winning.

The other day a woman gets on the elevator in my office building who noticed my "S.M.U." license plate on my car. She asks, "So, you like S.M.U.?" My response: "I love S.M.U.!" Her reply, "Well, that's nice...even if they don't have a football team anymore after that 'death penalty' thing" I responded that "Yes, they do have a football team! That BIG football stadium at the corner of Airline & Mockingbird on the SMU campus is where they play! You should bring your family to a game!" She said, "Oh, I thought that stadium was just for high school football games."

The ignorance of some people in Dallas amazes me sometimes.

Dude, that's not cool. I love GF stadium [that's one of the reasons I go to most home games]; yes, it's a little, aluminum, but it's a great atmosphere, especially for SMU. That being said, anyone who thinks it is a high school stadium is sadly mistaken, downright ignorant, yes.
