ECU is a 7 point favorite. What you think of that?

I laugh at them. We should be favored, I would say by 5 or 6.

SMU is 1-3 this year on the road.

I like it. We were favored when they came in to our house last year... let's serve them up some humble pie on their homecoming.

I think it's pretty safe to say that this is an entirely different team that the Tech and UNT losses. The UTEP loss came after losing Willis the day before the game. That stat isn't as gruesome as you're making it out to be.

SMU has covered the last five weeks (technically four since there is no actual spread on a I-AA game).

I still have a bad taste in my mouth from last year's game. Pinkney is going down for a sack and uses the ball to propel himself back up on his feet...Our team slows down thinking it's a sack and he heaves a ball downfield for a long completion.

Oh, and Romo threw **3** 4th quarter INTs....

Oh man I can't wait for redemption.

Line has dropped to ECU -6.

Might be because their WR is out with a broken foot, we're a hot team and CUSA West is better than CUSA East.

BTW, thanks blog for the note on their WR being out.

It also might have to do with the fact that they adjust the spread based on how people bet on it.

People actually bet on SMU games?

It's all about the money

The betting line has more to do with what it takes to get people to venture their oney than the actual difference between the two teams.

ECU beat UVA, and although they suck this year, I'm pretty sure UVA would still beat our [deleted]. We lost to UNT. The line sounds about right to me.
