I'm going to go with we should win because we're all around better and we need to so we can keep our conference championship hopes alive.

Boo! Though I agree with you entirely, I like PPB's reasoning better from a "nice research" standpoint.

Well yes, and how exactly can we lose with THE Joe Sturdivant and J-Will.

Where does the UNT loss tie into all of this. Because I think it should.

WE WILL WIN IF KENNEDY gets into the endzone and if SANDERS gets into the endzone.

Nah, it's the 19 degrees of winning, as demonstrated by PBB. It's a proven postulate.

The real key is that it become recursive...an ECU victory over Virgina begets an ECU victory...it's our density...I mean...destiny

You could make it real short from Kevin Bacon to SMU.
Kevin Bacon and Tom Cruise appeared in "Taps".
Tom Cruise was filmed at SMU in "Born on the 4th of July".

of course the jump from Billy Bob Thorton would be through "Bad Santa" in which he got nasty with Lauren Graham who went to SMU. Who has that scene indexed on their DVD player?

And of course we all know that the Big Ten stinks. They can't even get up the nerve to add 12th team to have a playoff. ND doesn't want to join you they never will. Get over it.

I knew better than to ask that question. Oh, well. :)

And by the way, I think you mean Odessa Permian. Not Midland Odessa
