Penalties

ECU was the better team, no doubt.

But you have to begin to wonder about a team that, game in game out has multiple penalties, especially @ critical times like we do. Penalties kill drives on"O", & keep opponents drives alive on "D".

Our punt return is a classic example of penalties killing momentum. But there were many more this afternoon that hurt.

I can recall in HS the extra motivational running for those who couldn't play without penalties. Or, just sit 'em down.

IMO, it does not appear that this staff cares much about players penalties regardless of how many times we are put in a hole by thes mental/physical mistakes.

But there-in lies the beauty of the PB special teams.... No coach - no one to take responsibilty for those mistakes...

we dont need a special teams coach..... we need a HEAD coach and not a glorified defensive coordinator like Phil Bennett

Penalties kill ya--
most of the time the stats sheets reflect it [Memphis being the exception].

Warning: Only UAB has more penalties that SMU.

Bring a seat cushion Halloween-- the zebras will be tossing yellow hankies everywhere!
