UTEP (4-2) at Houston (4-3) - Go Houston
Tulsa (5-1) at Memphis (1-5) - Go Memphis
Marshall (1-5) at UAB (3-4) - Go Marshall
Southern Miss (4-2) at Virginia Tech - Go USM (or should I cheer for VT so USM won't be closer to 6 wins)

You should cheer for UTEP over Houston I think...and I think no matter what, USM will get 6 wins anyway...so go ahead and cheer for them.

I agree UH is in a free fall plus SMU can add a loss to that number. Lose today-lose to SMU and UH is in trouble.

How would a UCF loss help the Stangs?

both Rice and UCF are playing an elimination game.

YES...if UCF loses, that means they are now 2 games down from being at .500

It is better for SMU to have the other division in CUSA to have one eligible bowl team.

Its better for UCF to be 2-5 and not 3-4.

I think we will regret letting ECU off the mat. ECU will be bowl eligible with victories over Marshall, Rice and UCF,. If they play like today-that's not a huge obstacle.

Yes, ECU has a fairly schedule closing the year.

but 4 out of 5 are on the road-and one is against a BCS school NCSU

Rice has the UCF game wrapped up 40-22 with 1:41 left

They will go to 3-5, UCF will drop to 2-5
