Man, not only did we have to endure that game, but the 1st 5 minutes was not aired. When the game finally comes on, ECU already has a TD and there is no sound. Then once we get sound (mid-1st Q), it goes in and out. There is no score posted, no down/to go ever shown, and a barely visible picture. Then, the sound goes out again in the 4th Quarter. What a joke. It was a lot better last year for some reason. Cancel my subscription. CSTV s u c k s.

It's better than the alternative.

I will call them tomorrow and hear what their lame excuses are and see if there is anything that can be done, but I doubt it. Of course it is possible that it had something to do with the ECU end of it but since this happened last year during a game elsewhere also, I do not think that is the case.

Thanks, mrydel. I'm curious to know what they say.

By the way, I will accept nothing less than a written apology, my money back and free CSTV for a year. Either that, or just a half-sincere, canned statement that they hope they get it right next time. 8)

For one thing, the start time of the game made it tough. The field was in shadows most of the game which makes it tough to show on TV, much less the internet....that really hurt the quality, I don't think it was an inferior video feed, just bad luck with the shadows, needed a different starting time or a cloudly day.

If the game is not broadcast "over air" there will very seldom be score boxes or down indicators on screen. This was nothing more than the feed that goes to the video scoreboard and the replay booth.

Of course, you need to have sound to make up for the lack of on screen information which was seriously lacking here. That and the first 5 minutes of the game was missed.

That is the complaint I wil lodge. I see no excuse for missing the game time. There could be an ECU problem that caused the sound difficulty, so I will listen to that excuse if one exists.

Well I have spoken with the CSTV folks and as I thought not much has been accomplished. They researched the game and said there were "technical difficulties" with the feed. They were working on the problem the entire game and "hopefully" the problem is solved for the next game to be shown. I asked if the problem was with them or ECU and their answer was basically "yes". I tried to get furhter than the person with whom I was speaking and was told that all anyone would tell me was that there were technical problems and they were sorry. They apologized for the problem and offered to cancel my subscription. I stated I was calling on behalf of several people but if anyone else would like to issue a complaint and see if numerous calls would do anything more, the number to call is 1-888-870-CSTV. Sorry I could not get any better satisfaction, but I doubted I would.

Nice try. Thanks for calling for us. I will call as well. It would be one thing if they were providing this for free so they could ram some advertising down our throats, but when you start taking money from people you better deliver what you have promised.

I don't think it is too much to ask that the game starts on time and the sound works the entire game.

The delay was really long too, it seemed longer than normal. But that is nit-picking compared to the other issues.

Thanks, mrydel! I figured that would be what they'd say and do. At least they know several people are pretty ticked about it. Hopefully, that'll be enough to solve the problem.
