Should We Be Concerned....

About Justin's lack of ball security?

After watching him half way through the season I saw him being a bit careless with the ball when he scrambles, had a couple of fumbles here and there but he hadn't really had enough games to be labeled a "fumbler".

After ECU though, he did it again, several more fumbles, some called, some he got away with but he is not taking care of the ball when the pressure comes in on him, he holds it away from his body.

I want him to stay agressive and love what he has been doing at the QB position but I don't want him to develop bad habits.

Keep in mind he's a freshman. A lot of freshmen have problems like that. We can start worrying if he hasn't improved by next year. Hopefully the coaches will really work with him on that.

The fumble in the 4th quarter occurred when he was trying to sidearm pass while being sacked. I was surprised they didn't break his arm. He was very very close to having the arm in a forward motion. We were 17 points behind and he was trying to force a play. Happens.

What we ought to be concerned about is the secondary. How about some adjustments? If Goode is not doing the job then make the change to Bryce Hudman permanent. Something has got to change.
