I just received this -- looks like someone saw the light:

SMU is very excited to host the Halloween Night game on ESPN2 and hopes that the experience will be a good one for everyone involved.

While The Boulevard will officially open at 3:30 p.m., vehicles with the proper pass will be allowed to set up prior to the opening time. Please keep in mind that classes will be in session all day and be respectful of noise levels leading up to the game. The Boulevard will close to all vehicular traffic at 5:30 p.m. to ensure the safety of those tailgating.

We hope you and your family will join us as well for the "Ultimate Trick-or-Treating Experience" at Ford Stadium. Trick-or-treating will begin in the concourse at 5:30 p.m. Young fans will have the chance to visit our trick-or-treating booths up until the end of the first quarter. The first 1,500 children 13 and younger will receive a free t-shirt.

If you have any questions regarding The Boulevard or events surrounding the game, please contact me at 214-768-4051 or Bob Sharp at 214-768-4001.

Go Mustangs!

Sanderson appeared on the Daily Update this morning and also said CSC security would set up on the Boulevard at noon. This means that the students can get wristbands at that time and start drinking.

(If we don't start much, much earlier)

My lab is cancelled that day (for a different reason), so I'll be out on the blvd making sure everyone else is getting wasted.

There should be many, many "Lab" classes on the Boo levard, with experiments previously found ONLY at say, Pat O'Brien's?!?!?
