Did anyone else think it was kind of funny that in the article in today's Dallas Morning News "Upcoming game big for SMU" that there is a quote from Bennett himself as saying that SMU pays its players?

"This is where the money is made," Bennett said.

I would think that the recruiting has to start picking up sooner or later if he's going around telling folks that SMU is where the money is made.

Bus, I never received a email from the athletic department, suggesting sitting on the east side.

OK, Stop the mean stuff. That is for game day and to be focussed upon the other team.

Problem, yes there is one.

Solution, at least for the short term, sit on the east side.

Long term, take transfer hours, bring back Physical Education major, Start Sports Management degree, Get 3 new people on Faculty Senate.

I can not control those things but I can encourage people to put their best foot forward for a nationally televised game.

FnC - I'm pretty sure he was refering to himself/the coaching staff/the University. But I'm guessing you knew that...
