Baylor QB tears ACL

Postby J.T.supporta » Mon Oct 30, 2006 12:00 am

Bell done for year along with Baylors hopes of a bowl game most likely.

He owns most of the school records for passing and has a good shot at getting picked in next years NFL draft.

Wish you a quick recovery Shawn.

Never liked Baylor and never will, but everything I've heard about that kid is that he's an impressive player and an even more impressive young man. Hope he feels better quickly, and that his recovery is fast and complete.

Who cares whether he is/was a legit NFL prospect. This plain sucks. On the football field I wish nothing but ill for Baylor. I guess I'm envious of their spot in the Big XII. But this news sucks as a college football fan. I was really anxious to see who ended up with the better record - SMU or Baylor. But now it's not a fair fight. Obviously, regardless, their remaining schedule is just a touch tougher than ours. ;)

Best of luck to Mr. Bell.
