DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Director of Athletics Steve Orsini has started his
own blog, Mustang Musings.

"With all the things we have going on at SMU, I thought a blog would
give me a chance to share my thoughts with our fans," said Orsini.
"Coach Doherty has gotten a good response to his blog, and I just think
it's a great way to communicate with the `Mustang Nation'."

Orsini opens his blog with an entry about the Halloween match-up at Ford
Stadium and plans to update the entries several times weekly.

homepage or by going directly to http://smuad.blogspot.com/.

Orsini "Students are also encouraged to show their spirit for the national television audience by dressing up for Halloween and making signs. We’ll have prizes for the most “spirited” students."


And so another award for the Mustang Band, "The Hub of SMU Spirit".


The band is planning something special for Holloween. I wonder how many will notice what the band is doing. You can reply to this post on Wednesday if you happen to notice anything special about the band.

Glad he has started to blog.....


Starting the new "first down smu" and then the crowd yells "Mustangs" is great and all....just wish the first time they started it was not on national tv, but what do i know......maybe it will catch on faster than i think.

The competition is mounting. I promise to always have more pictures of chicks than Orsini and Doherty combined.

Speaking of the blogster's blog, those of you who have not yet gone by and clicked his link to the worst costumes of all time are really missing some funny stuff.

God help the poor kid that was this for Halloween. He would have been scarred for life.
