Is beating tulsa/houston such an impossible task?

i mean plz i keep reading "o there's no way were beatin tulsa or houston, gotta catch a miracle"...such bull$hit i can barely stand it any more. sure tulsa's lost one game and they have kragthorpe but i could really care less. yea houston has a high flying pass offense, they lost to the university of louisiana-lafayette at home, enough said. our ponies are a very very solid team at home as of late if u guys hadn't noticed, and we have a skilled young quarterback at the helm. i expect us to win these next three games. Of course were prolly not gonna blow em out but i think these ponies know how to get it done and especially at home. We got houston for homecoming and then we got our senior ponies playing their last home game against the overrated golden hurricane...lets stay frickin positive...8-4 baby

No joke man. This is not too tall a task for the ponies. Houston is going to try to air it out on us, but our defense looks solid enough to possibly allow us to rely on a nonconservative 6 TD offense. There is no reason we cannot beat UH. Tulsa is a much more formidable opponent than UH, but I think the momentum doing into that game will be INCREDIBLE

GOOOOO PONIES

Maybe someone should remind you of how badly Rice was beaten by those three teams. They were whooped but a combined score of 133-30. You can play hard teams all day long, but it doesn't mean much if you are getting hammered week in and week out.

..I still think we will absolutely have our hands full v. Rice, have to play a clean game to win...

I'll have what He's having

Take another big swig of whatever koolaid you've been drinking if you think SMU will win out their schedule. Geez, win a game and we want to be in a BCS bowl game. Likewise, lose a game and we fire the coach. SMU looks like a 6-6 team that might go 7-5, and will have to win twice more to get a bowl bid. Nuff said cause my head hurts from drinking that hard stuff someone is passing around.

I just got done listening to some college football analyst on local radio here in Houston. They are saying that the game this weekend (Tulsa @ Houston) is the "conference championship" for the Western Division. Basically, the Cougars think they have things wrapped up if they win against Tulsa. I hope we can surprise them when they come into our house.

Either way, whether UH wins or loses, we are a perfect trap game for Houston.

If they win they will definitely be looking down on us and take us too lightly. We did not exactly impress in our win over UAB.

If they lose they will be down. Well, OK they may be looking for respect.

In any case we will have extra days rest and they will have just played a tough game.

Beat UH! 8)

Not that it matters, yet, but if Houston beats Tulsa and we win out...we win the West (unless UTEP wins out). :D :D :D

The is super sunshiney and I like it. We are just as capable of beating any of the three teams remaining on our schedule as we are to losing to them. Here's to hoping we win out.

(post flame prevention note: not saying we will. not saying it is likely or probable. just saying i would love to see it happen and hope it does.)

We went 3-0 last November and beat Houston in the process -- down there. And they had Kolb playing QB and Vincent Marshall at WR.
