So who cares??????????????? Is he better than Willis? Of course he is, he was rated higher on Rivals! And that is what matters, isn't it?

I would love to see SMU mentioned as one of the places he was considering.

It was in the DMN College Blog. Also mentioned Fl. State and sorts of other schools. No telling where he ends up.

I don't think he has any more interest in being Willis's backup than he does in being McCoy's backup -- and they both have three seasons left.

I'm a huge J-Dub fan. He is going to have a great career at SMU, but you’re crazy if you think he would start in front of Snead. Snead would be the starter here the day he stepped foot on campus.

My comment was slightly tongue-in-cheek, if only because I have never seen Snead play. But I wouldn't be so quick to assume Willis wouldn't retain the job. He knows the offense very well, and has that knack (what Coach Bennett calls "it") that some QBs have, and some don't. I'm not saying Snead doesn't, but Willis just might be abel to hold him off.
Doesn't matter, though -- he's not coming here. Moot arguemnt.

Snead's got potential, Willis can effectively run an offense. I highly doubt Snead could show up on any campus and just take over the starting position. Hell, he didn't do it when there was still no clear starter at Texas. It'll be a big loss for Texas if/when he does transfer. Hopefully Mack can work his magic and keep him around.

Wish coach would let Willis use "it" on those 3rd/4th and ones instead of handing it off for no gain.

I totally agree with you PDawg. So many times, I am screaming, keep it in the hands of your best player! Darn it!

But Joe Sturdivant plays on defense.
