Western Kentucky is starting the process to move up to IA. I think the Sun Belt is the most obvious fit for them (since they already play there for other sports), or possibly the MAC if they want to steal them and go back to 14 teams.

"Next season, WKU will introduce two new ticket policies. While reserved chair and Red Towel seats will continue to require the same donation to the Hilltopper Athletic Foundation and ticket price levels that currently applies, all other season tickets will cost $25 for the year — those on the lower level will be reserved bleacher seats that will require a $50 HAF donation, the minimum to join at the Fan Level, while all other upper-deck seats are general admission and do not require a donation. Also, students will be able to purchase an unlimited number of tickets for guests for $5 each per game and enjoy an expanded seating allocation to accommodate the anticipated rising number of individuals coming to games.

Yes, that's $25 for the entire season. Can't beat that for a program looking to put butts in seats.

That is ridiculous!!! And SMU can't find a way to lets kids in for $5 for one game!!!!

I hope WKU never plays SMU in Dallas. It's gonna be weird to play an opponent that calls themselves The Hilltoppers on The Hilltop.

so how long now until WKU starts calling itself Kentucky State? or UK-Bowling Green?

They have the best mascot (after Peruna, of course). Big Red is his name. He is affectionately known as Big rug.

Great. Another directional, redheaded-stepchild, middle of nowhere, state university to further cloud "the rest" (Non-BCS) of Div. 1-A football. And we wonder why BCS school fans are indifferent to non-BCS conferences.
