How bout more carries???

Just once i would like to see James Mapps get the bulk of the carries! We will never know what he is capable of unless we put some trust in him and give him the ball!!!

I am sure he is "earning" the number of carries he gets in practice. Coaches don't just hand them out come game time, you have to show you can do it day in and day out in practice.

Demyron Martin is our running back. Mapps is a good change of pace, but Demyron should take the brunt of the carries. He is our workhorse. It seems there are a lot that have jumped off the Martin bandwagon because he has been slowed by injuries. He should be ready for Houston. Give Martin the ball 20 times a game and give Mapps the ball 7-10 times a game.

So far, we have had a decent season without a running game. That is a long way from the Kincade days. I f we can execute short passes without a super running game, I will take that. I would love to see a new pony express but I will take a scoring offense regardless of its primary mode of ball movement.
