...for those of you like me with nothing better to do but watch our next two opponents and the LSU game.

Much like last week, I am underwhelmed but what I'm seeing from Tulsa. UH looks like I would've expected Tulsa to look. We may be looking at a team with a head full of steam coming up to the Hilltop next weekend.

It's still early, though.

Tulsa looks like they are gonna run a little more than usual. Try and shorten the game, and keep it away from Kolb.

Nice little 70+ yard run for a TD by HOUSTON just now. This is a fun game so far. Not impressed with Tulsa's D at all.

Looks like Houston is going to run away with it.

UH is up 24 to 10 late in the 3rd. Tulsa only has 92 total yards vs 340 for UH. Here is to hoping for a hangover next week vs. the Stangs.

UH stops Tulsa drive with about 7:00 left. Still 24-10. Looks like both final home games will have championship implications-for someone. Should help attendance. I wouldn't be surprised to see a decent UH crowd next week. ECU is also holding on 16-10 over UCF late in 3Q.

I definitely did not see UH beating Tulsa like this. I thought if Houston would win (and I thought it was a long shot) that it would be really close. Houston pretty much shut Tulsa down. 10-27. Wow.

I was at this game and it was by far the best defense I have seen from UH the entire season. If they play that well on D against us it will be tough sledding. Tulsa did not impress me at all in my first time seeing them play this year. They seem to be average at everything but have no real aspect of the game that they are great at.

The score is also not reflective of just how much UH dominated this game. They went up 24-10 on the first possesion of the second half then went into uber conservative offensive mode. I would say from the 10 minute mark in the third quarter they threw maybe 5 more passes the rest of the game, nearly all of which were swing passes in the flat. Their offensive line is still awful and should allow opportunities for our D-Line to be a big factor.

I sort of wish UH's final game of the season was against a better opponent than Memphis. I don't see any way they will look past us considering we beat them last season and considering they have no game in need of looking towards too soon.
