Because you just beat me to posting the score. And I didn't feel like going through the machinations of posting my comment on yours and removing mine.

My interest/awareness of Rice is increasing. However, let's do be honest. They have beaten Army, which I am pretty sure SMU would beat. They beat UAB by a point, and would have lost if not for a bonehead decision by a UAB linebacker. They beat UCF, which has beaten only Marshall (by a point) and Villanova (impressive if it were basketball).

I expected Rice to play better towards the end of the season and never considered the Rice game a cakewalk, but it is looking like more a challenge than I expected two months ago. Still, a very winnable game.

30-10.

Not much of a review; I had a 21 month old and 4 year old with me. 4 year old was scared of the horn. Left way before half.

If you recall, UTEP had two games like this last year. One at home and one on the road. At home against UAB and on the road, oh yes, against SMU. Though, this one seems more like a team effort than the Palmer just giving it away.

I wonder if Bennett will key into the fact that it's hard to put up 37 points only running the option.
