well im not sure who said it this week, but they said he was a terrible QB and couldnt believe he was a D-1 prospect when he saw him in HS.... well 10/12, 162, 3tds, 0 INT (first half) not too shabby

I was the one who said I couldn't believe he was a D-1 prospect when I saw him in high school...but I didn't say he was a terrible QB. I just thought he was more of a Texas State or Sam Houston type guy. If you would have seen him in high school, you would have said the same. Sure, he had some talent, but it wasn't overwhelming (however, I did see him go up against a pretty good defense, so that might have been a factor). I attribute a lot of his success this year at Rice to learning under Major Applewhite.
