Wife and I will be driving up for the game. Will we have any trouble buying endzone tickets at the gate? How much does parking cost?

UHCoog27: Thanks for coming to the game; please bring lots of friends. We've never sold out the stadium and so their isn't much chance you could not buy a ticket at the gate. Come early and walk the Boulevard.

It's great for us to have a meaningful game in November.....

Parking is provided at the Mockingbird Dart Station. It is located at the corner of Mockingbird and Central Expresway (Highway 75). Coming north on 75, take the Mockingbird exit. Go past Mockingbird until you reach the first right. Do not turn into the shopping area, but take the first street. Continue on this short street, it is only a block long, until you cross over the Dart rail line. You can catch a Mustang shuttle from this parking area to the stadium.

THE PARKING IS FREE!!!

The shuttle is free too. BTW, DART stands for Dallas Area Rapid Transit. There is a fair amount of free parking on the east side of 75 north of Mockingbird adjacent to the DART parking areas if they are full and it is all serviced by the free shuttle.

We have sold out the stadium before. Why do people insist on talking out of their @$$?

you're right. Vs. Texas Tech the last time they were in town, and back in 2000 vs. Kansas when they opened up the place 8)

That being said, it's not opening night and UH ain't Tech.

Tech travels pretty well. The last time they were in town, the sellout occurred because we had our usual 13k or so, and Tech brought about 20k.

I know UH has a huge enrollment, and might even have close to as many alumni in Dallas as does Tech. But I think Tech travels better..that is, has a fan base that is much more zealous about going to games.

In terms of the "[deleted] kick factor"?

You can also buy tickets online and just do the Will Call thing. If you know you are going then it is the easiest way to handle it and you don't have to wait in line to buy tickets which can be a bit of a pain in the butt depending on when you arrive.

Let those words sink in to your head for a minute or two, Mustang fans.

I don't recommend Will Call. I've tried it twice when playing at SMU and both times I missed the majority of the 1st quarter waiting in line...despite being there 30 minutes+ before kickoff.

Buying tickets at will call is painful! The young girl working the window is a sweet gal, but she so very, very slow.
