" He treats us like men. He lets us wear earrings."

Torrin Polk, University of Houston receiver, on his coach, John Jenkins

I seem to remember that team came back their senior year and whipped your tails... glad you take such pleasure on beating a freshman team

Keep your 95-21...I will settle for the one that matters: 29-24.

B*tch. :D

This ones not so ancient. How about McMurtry's game winning fieldgoal last year. Oh no. That one had to sting just a little. Did it. Did it sting a little.

I was at that game. The stunned silence of the 3500 Cougar fans was precious.

They weren't quiet because they were stunned... they were quiet because they know if you get too loud in that neighborhood you're asking for a drive-by.

Who had Tuesday in the-first-blantantly-racist-post-on-the-pony-board-pool?

One thing y'all must understand about 95-21. It wasn't biggest blow out in UH history.

And yes, 29-25 really stings. Really, really bad. So bad in fact, that this isn't a game for the conference title. It's a payback game.

Oh yea...last year sucked...I mean...

We had more first downs, more 3rd down converstions, more trips to the red zone, more yards, more time of possession, less penalties...and... lost.

Missed two fg's (while your guy hit a 49yarder), gave up a defensive touchdown, and ended the game with a safety.

Whats not to hate for coog fan...sigh...

But really, the two of our U's shouldn't be having a peter measuring contest over attendance now should we? Your avg last year was a whopping 18K to our 15K. This year we avg'd 20.5K and you guys ar at 14.4K so far.

I think we should both hang our heads on that note.

The payback game was in 1992 when we beat you 41-16 with several of the players who were on the team that lost 95-21.
