Since it's homecoming, any chance any of the guys from the '92 team could give a pre-game speech in the locker room? I would vote Mike Romo or Jason Wolf. Don't remember if Mike Bowen was on that team as his eligibility may have already lapsed. Could be a theme along the lines of "let's finish what we started long ago to get the Ponies back into a Bowl game." That '89-'92 post DP team didn't win much but certainly left everything on the field.

I thought 92 was payback. Wait, I thought last year was payback. Does it really take three games?

We also are looking at trying to accumulate over 1,000 yards of total offense against CHS. So until we do, we're going to own this issue.

Hey man, I'm not here to tell you boys how to motivate your team... but perhaps having a bunch of guys come in before the game and say, "these guys thrashed us 95-21" isn't the most uplifting and reassuring thing you could do to get spirits up. There are at least a few guys in the room that will think... "dang, I hope they don't do that to us again."

Yea why don't you get Eric Dickerson to give a motivational speech instead.

I agree with the previous poster, that 1989 freshman team got it's revenge when they were seniors 41-16........when it was an even match.
