Last week was the biggest win in UL history and now tonight was the biggest win in Rutgers history I would have to say. Rice had a huge game along with Teel who out threw Brohm.

I said after the WVU game that UL would lose tonite. WVU will now beat Rutgers and go back to the Sugar Bowl. And mite we all start talking about a BCS controversy. Should it be Texas, Boise State, or Florida???

What a comeback for Rutgers. They just totally shutdown UL's potent offense in the second half.

Rutgers, I Love the story line.
how many college fans wish it was their school? I'm in the Rutgers camp for the national title which gives hope to even SMU fans.

Yes, it is a remarkable story that Rutgers has. From going 1-11 almost four years ago to playing in a bowl game last year and having the best season in Knights history it is amazing and gives hope to SMU too. However, Rutgers will not win the Big East tho. WVU has always been the best team in that conference this year and will reclaim is conference crown during the last game of the cfb season against Rutgers.

Ray Rice is a great Heisman canidate as well.

I would say it gives hope to Vandy and Baylor fans, but not SMU fans, we don't have the BCS cash flow Rutgers, Vandy and Baylor have. Plus were we to go undefeated there would be no way in hell we would be playing for the national title. I would propose that even if we went undefeated for several years in a row we still would not be considered for the national title. I think the same is true for any non-BCS team.

For non BCS teams who go undefeated, its not about playing for a national title, its all about playing for millions of dollars and playing in the BCS bowl. Look at UTAH, they set the standards for non BCS schools. They beat Pitt in the Fiesta bowl and earned 7 million dollars for their program. That's what TCU has been trying to do for the past years and it looks as if Boise St. will accomplish something the froggies haven't done yet; play in a BCS bowl game.

It was a great football game to watch. Blown assignment by the Louisville LB on Rutgers game-winning drive on the 3-and-6 with the swing pass to the FB. That was almost a Rusty Burns call.

Man their D was so aggressive, felt like Brahm had no time at all to get the ball off in the second half. Sure hope Kolb feels similar pressure from our front 4!

Loved how they got after it.

As a native New Yorker, that game is exciting for the tri-state area (for those that don't know, its NJ, NY and CT). The northeast outside of Boston really has no power college football team and for one to climb the ranks is exciting. As a kid, the closest college team was Army, and yea, you can tell how exciting that was, then Rutgers and now UConn. Go Rutgers!

That game was great. Hopefully Rutgers can hold on to Schiano. He's an amazing coach.
