This is a far cry from the '78 game with Houston when Mike Ford was quarterback. I worked the sidelines in the Cotton Bowl with a friend who was the sideline cameraman for ABC at the time. Putt Choat was one tough linebacker, though. I had to pull my friend out of Putt's way a couple of times.
