do you guys realize this kid is AVERAGING 12.5 yards per carry this year. Never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. Its not like he's only got a few carries Kid has over 800 yards this year. He's carried the ball 64 times for 803 yards rushing. He's added 245 yards on 17 catches for 14.4 yards per catch and outstanding average for a RB. That's incredible. Somebody should be fired for failing to give him the ball ONLY 81 times this year. Every time he touches the ball he gets about 13 yards.

yeah, well Aldridge will be back next year. And Bonds and Haywood will be gone. Which means following our performance next year stopping him, we'll at least be able to hear that, "not that's it's an excuse or anything, but those DTs are redshirt freshmen..." or that our DL is the youngest in CUSA, or somesuch.

He came out every time he ran the ball even if for a short gain. I do not know if he lacks stamina or if it is just Houston's rotation, but I agree, I would get him the ball as often as possible.

We're blessed to have Alridge (only one "d" in his name) at Houston. His nickname is "Quick 6."

I don't remember Aldridge punishing us on the inside. He is an option/toss/tackle runner. Our corners have to learn to shed blocks...

he ran the first 77 yard TD right up the middle splitting the FS and SS. Battle tore us up on the inside too. You know Battle got 138 yards rushing too at a 9 yard per rush average. Total rushing stats for Aldridge/Battle was 28 carries for 361 yards for a 13 yards per rush average. And yet UH doesn't get any credit-it was all coaches fault. I guess they forgot to tell the defensive players to watch the kid with the ball and tackle him.
