I hope this is the case as we will need these guys to play well if we are going to have a chance to have a strong defense against Tulsa. The second team guys will get alot of reps. in practice this week which will help. But without Sanders.....Everybody on both sides of the ball are going to have to step up if we are serious about going to a bowl.

Where did the Sanders report come from?
We do need Bonds and Haywood -- those were having their way with the interior of the UH offensive line before Haywood went down for the game, and the second and third long TD runs started up the middle before bouncing outside. There's no way we'll ever know, but I'd like to think having Bonds and Haywood in there (and healthy) would have snuffed out at least one.

sanders is on crutches, he's done
haywood separated his shoulder, done
bonds will find out if he'll be able to play, so 50/50
overheard this from a source

I would be much more concerned about the defense.

Overhearing it from a source is not a credible way to post news on this board.

True, but anybody who thinks of anything posted on this board as "news" has it coming.
Except of course for those summaries of daily DMN coverage created by that very astute poster on the other thread. The source of those news nuggets is well documented.

I posted this earlier, but apparently many are still speculating.

WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee strain) will undergo further evaluation today and is questionable. DT Adrian Haywood (shoulder) and DT Brandon Bonds (knee) are probable. Kick returner Jessie Henderson (ankle) is expected to return this week.

Who was that again that keeps track of it? Big fish or something like that.
But remember we went through this garbage last month, and I pretty much tore into that poster when it came to an injury situation. And of course, it turned out not to be the case.
By the way, 3-point play by Pearson to start the game against mcneese

If the source is a player? Yes it is. Which it happened to be.

That is the absolutely last place to get your information. The players talk, talk and talk. When it comes from a source with better knowledge, then I'll go with it.
With a player, forget it.

I'm finding it really hard to believe that Kate wouldn't know if two of our best players are done for the season, and even more hard to believe that her information would contradict what these guys are saying. That just strikes me as odd. I suppose we will all find out tomorrow from PB at his conference.
