I'd rather be an SMU fan than an LSU fan. Tiger Stadium is abysmal.

I'll grant you that I like my 40 yd line Ford stadium seats a lot better than our north end zone Tiger Stadium seats.
On the other hand, the Ford stadium seats are cheaper, the w's are fewer, and there's about 70-75k fewer fans around. Oh, and the band has about 300 fewer members.
Which is why agree with jtstang on this one: a guy can't compare the two. It hurts too much.
FWIW, I'll take Moody over the Maravich Center too.

You have seats in the north end zone at Tiger Stadium? I sat in the north end zone! What section are your tickets in? We sat in 242, about 3 rows from the top.
I will say this: While Tiger Stadium is much bigger, has a lot more fans cheering for a much better team, and has a band that is powerful enough to get the student section dancing and the entire stadium chanting, I enjoy Ford Stadium. It's a different animal, but at least there are wide concourses (and no ramps to go up to your seats on!) and you can get close to the action. Now if we could just get back on a winning streak there...
Never been in the Maravich Center. Didn't look like a great venue.

We're in 238, a few rows closer to the field.

We had a good view...but there wasn't but one concession stand near our section. Plus there was no place to get any souveniers. A few people did comment on my SMU hat...ranging from "SMU, Cool" to "Hey, SMU guy, your football team is S***!"

are you telling me that LSU fans were rude to you? No, I will never believe it - they were always so classy when they came to Oxford for games...

hahaha...yeah, I don't imagine it will be a pretty game, although the Rebels have put up a good fight against some of the better SEC schools this year. Wear some SMU stuff to the game and see what happens...although that could be deadly considering the red/blue color similarity

Come to the LSU/Arkansas game in Little Rock the day after Thanksgivng. I do not know about lessons on the field, but the Arkansas fans will be giving the LSU fans lessons in rudeness.
