I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep about the idea of Slocum ending up here. Hopefully, we won't even be conducting any kind of search, anyway!

I sat next to a very good pop warner coach at the game on Saturday. He brought his entire staff with him. Clearly something is up.

wasn't Bob Davie a good D-coordinator at a Big XII school (a&m) before doing the same at ND, and ultimately found out that perhaps he was a better d-coordinator than head coach?

I would hope we've learned that lesson already

I saw several coaches in the press box. My stealth reporter skills told me they had names like Larry Edmondson, Clarence James, Scott Vestal, etc.
I saw some Houston coaches up there, too. Several of them.

I saw Phil Bennett on the SMU sideline -- ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Bob Popelka's nephew attended the same real estate tax seminar as I did. yesterday.

I saw Hayden Fry in the Midland airport a few weeks ago.

Now everybody cut it out-or I'm going to do something drastic!
