Read the following story. If these are legitimate excuses, then he doesn't have cable/satellite or access to the internet.

The really pathetic thing is that he relies on the newspaper for making his votes. He can always go on he Internet to actually read in-depth reviews of each games.

OU has had the worst luck for 1 season of any team in history and they still have a shot to win the Big 12.

That is the major problem about college poll voting. Not everyone sees/reads/hears about all the games. The people that vote on the west coast watch majority of all Pac10 games then fill in the rest from there and that goes for other parts of the nation. Most voters on the east coast don't stay up to watch late games played on the west coast. That's been a spoken about problem for a while in the AP voting and other polls. it is especially a problem in college bball.
