If you're driving home, make sure you take some No Doz or you are not operating heavy machinery. An accident could happen.
I'm sure you will hear the following:
"Our goal is to be the best team we can be.''
"We just want to get better.''
"He's a better person off the field than he is on the field.''
"This game against xxxx is going to be challenge for our kids.''
Sexy Gary is on the air.

I think he sweats so much because he isn't shaded by a hat or a normal sized headset.

So I'm driving my girls home from dancing school, and I'm listening to Sexy Gary, with the enabling Brian Estrogen at his side.
And in between wolfing down chicken wings and quesadillas, Patterson says this about Lonta Hobbs that Hobbs addressed the younger players and told them, "This is why they are here and on scholarship'' or something like that.
Then Sexy Gary says this is the first time in 23 years that he has ever had a senior do this.
I guess if you drink grape Kool-Aid, you buy it. But please stop insulting our intelligence.
And he did fire off one of those statements I posted at the top.
I know it would be cool if Bennett had a show, but sometimes these coaching shows are an hour of your life that you will never get back.

Why is this discussion here? And Big10, why would you listen to that guy at all? Put in a CD, dude.
If anyone HAS to listen to that guy, at least call in, posing as a FroggyHigh guy, and then get some on-air SMU talk in!

Funniest thing you've ever said on this board.

No kidding. You hate TCU so why would you listen? And why would you then make a post about it on an SMU forum???

Something like, "So coach Patterson, I know you support the other sports too...tell me about bball coach Doherty...nice pedigree huh? Notre Dame and UNC? Played with MJ?"
"...uh....that's not our Daugherty..."

Why do you visit our web site? I don't visit yours. I take that back. I was on it for about 10 minutes after you all lost to Utah. Found the conversation unimaginative -- kind of like Mike Schultz's offense -- and logged off never to return.

ReedFrawg is right. They generally don't like us, we generally don't like them. Fine -- such is the nature of rival schools. But why you listened to their coach's show is beyond me, and why you posted about it here, is even harder to figure out. If you have to listen to the Patterson Hour, or whatever it's called (I don't know, maybe you're married to a Froggie High grad?), that's fine -- but go to their board if you have something to complain about or mock. Here, it's a waste of time and bandwidth.
Besides, despite being saddled with that Froggie High lineage, ReedFrawg has been a great contributor to this site. His offerings are both thought-out and relevant .... unlike the shameless pimping of those meaningless games in your signature. He also doesn't come on here and just brag about his team -- he realizes that on an SMU board, you talk about the Ponies. ReedFrawg is always welcome here, as far as I'm concerned.

When you agree with a Frog, keep it to yourself. You don't want that going around.

Thanks Buddha...I often tire of the complaining on the TCU site. I wish the Ponies success and congrats on the huge win today. As most of the guys on this forum know, I played under Coach Bennett and would really like to see him succeed. Good luck against Rice!!!
