This award is a complete toss up, could go to anyone of those great backs.

When do you think a Mustang will win this award?

Friggin Trevor Cobb won this thing! And SMU can't produce a back worthy of this award? Does anybody think this strange?

Peterson does not belong on that list. He's great, but he's only played 1/2 of the season.

Remember LF68 that this is semifinalist list. give me one legitimate back that is deserving enough to replace AD on that list. Peterson put up great numbers in half of a season.

Has an SMU Running back even made the semifinalist list? We always have one be a "nominee" at the start of the season......but perhaps that is just because the award is given out by SMU.

Is it to late for SMU to add Pat White to this list, yea I know he's a QB but he's been the best option/running qb since the great Tommy Fraiser.

McFadden may be the best back in the country. I don't know why he doesn't get more attention. He was the Top High School RB in the country a few years ago. He is absolutely carrying Arkansas this year.

This is correct. Against USC he was 2 weeks off of toe surgery and was able to play but ineffective. Since then he has progressed beyond expectations even for obnoxious Arkansas fans. Last week he played QB in the red zone for several plays as is the fad now. He handed off for a TD, he ran for 2 and passed for one. He also passed for one and ran for one the week before. I am not an avid UA fan but he is one amazing athlete. Other than a slightly (very slightly) more crouched running style, he looks like the reincarnation of Eric Dickerson when he runs.

Anyone else watch West Virginia/Pitt last night?
Steve Slaton is from another planet.
