Come on there is no excuse for anyone who spends 365 days a week on this board not to make it to Houston next week. 2:00 Driveable Game. The Biggest SMU/Rice Game in any of our lifes. The ONLY big Rice Game in any of our lifes. Two schools with a combined 63 of bowl futility are playing for all the marbles.

Hope you'll be pulling for us.
Is there going to be a bus trip by the athletic department?

Good call, I hope they don't drop the ball on this golden opportunity. You think the athletic department can arrange a cheap air fare for me from San Diego? AA is one of our big sponsors after all.

Heck yes, the wife and I are there.
Look for the RED SMU flag and the BUS STOP sign on top.
Tailgate BABY.
What a second half.
Defense was put in position to make plays.
NEW O-plays. When is the last time we threw a pass in the middle.
All Seniors caught a touchdown.

I decided in the 4th quarter that I am driving down to Houston for the game. If anyone is looking for a ride, PM me. Not real sure when I am leaving or coming back, but damnit, I am going to the game.

Alas, I do have an excuse. Believe me, if I thought I could tell my mom I was going to skip out on helping pack and get my grandparents' house in Wichita, KS ready to sell after they had to move to a nursing home 2 weeks ago in order to attend the Rice game, I would. It's going to kill me to miss this game!

I am sure they will understand if you just tell them that you are just going to put this off for another week.
Also, if anyone is looking for possible excuses I will be running a service this week that will be providing excuses to spouses, families, friends, and employers on why you will have to change your current plans. I am willing to make phone calls, forge doctors notes, handle all travel agent like requests, and of course we can always have fake subpeona's served upon you to make an appearance on 11/25 at the Houston Federal Courthouse.
Remember, you see your family at least once a year or you have seen them before. However, there is a good chance that you have never seen an SMU that is this important.
