Not to wish misfortune on any player.. but that has to be a stoke of good luck for smu.
He broke it in the 3rd Qtr vs ECU

I hope it's not Armstrong. I have horrific memories of that guy.

Both he and John Shephard (FR) played on the final drive.

guys this is absolutely huge for us, all we have to do is cover that wide receiver and we should roll outta houston with a convincing 7th W

I agree with the "this is huge" part; I don't necessarily agree with the "all we have to do is cover that WR" part. We haven't won there in two decades, and Rice has won 5 games in a row.

I got great memories of that guy as a Longview Lobo beating Shrev.
Evangle when they were top ten USA in Lobo Stadium, but horrific
memories of him doing his magic against us in Rice Stadium 2 years ago.
Fasten your seat belts it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

The worst thing about the haven't won in Rice in twenty years is we have played there every other year since then.

I went to go look I expected to see a few dotted times, but no we played them every year alternating between SMU hosting and Rice hosting. But if any team can do it, this one can. Kate reported seeing E-man in uniform on the sidelines jumping up and down before the game. I bet we can expect to see him come next Saturday.

My apologies, dear Watson. I wasn't quite aware of this elementary fact. Pardon my ignorance on Rice-SMU history.
(P.S.-That is not a question and thus should not have a ?.

I was shocked, surprised and unaware. Therefore, it was a correct literary technique.

Not sure about your logic on that. You weren't asking a question, thus a question mark should not have been used, but I'm unwilling to engage in a grammar battle on a football board.

*Except for 1987 & 1988...but then who's counting?
