SMU needs to win at least one more or else they watch the post-season on television.

This makes it pretty simple: SMU and Rice are playing for a spot in a bowl.

If SMU or Rice is 6-6, they'll probably wind up losing out to either ECU or Southern Miss on a bowl bid should either team finish 6-6.

So now the big concern is Rice. They are a hot team right now. They beat an ECU team today that beat the Mustangs by 17 a few weeks ago.

Don't compare scores. Any team in this conference can beat any other team on any given day. Like today, Memphis almost beat UH. 23-20 in OT. Marshall spanked UTEP.
