Rice board says QB will play

I don't know how a guy goes from broken collarbone with arm in a sling to mild concussion.

Part of me thinks Graham is playing games with SMU through the alums.

They are also saying that our QB is hurt and there is a small chance that he may not play. So it seems like they've started their pre-game drinking a little early this week.

Edit: Kate has an article in the paper which has a quote from Graham saying he is questionable.

I mentioned on the Todd Graham press conference thread that I believe there is some gamesmanship going on here. I guess Graham used his HS coaching experience very well to be sly about injury information. Kind of like telling reporters at Allen that so-so is going to play and then the kid doesn't even dress for the game.

Again, I'm sure Bennett and his staff are taking the approach that Clement is going to play until he does or does not. While i'ts sophomoric, it's still amusing.

So, which do you understand to be the true case: Broken collarbone or concussion?

Maybe sophomoric but how about "Henderson is ready and will play" for the past 3 weeks?

The Chronicle on Monday said arm in sling and did not practice Sunday.

Some Houston ponyfan should just drive back their practice and look for Clement...and report back.

We had better assume he is playing and prepare accordingly. No excuses for letting up in any way. If I thought they were going to revert to the option for this game it might be different but that is not going to happen.

I hope he is playing. I'd like us to break his collarbone the rest of the way through.
