You can't get to the 1 twice and only get 6 --- As hard as we played and as resilient as this team seems, that is the story of the game?
CAN SOMEONE CLARIFY WHAT IS NEXT AND WHEN WE WILL FIND OUT???
WHO DO WE ROOT FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT

we don't deserve a bowl. ECU beat us so why should a 6-6 SMU team go bowling instead of ECU?

Yes but if ECU loses I believe they could end up being under .500 and out by the rules anyway.....

ECU can not finish worse than us, they are 6-5. They have a 5-3 record in the conference so they're in. Ruck Fice.

if they lose that doesnt mean they will get the bid... we can still get it if we are chosen

Follow my logic.....
IF ECU loses tonight
AND Marshall wins at So. Miss
THEN ECU goes to the Championship Game vs. Houston at 6-6.
IF Houston beats ECU in the Championship Game....
THEN ECU will have a 6-7 record overall and be BOWL ineligible.....
CORRECT????

If Memphis wins, we're going bowling...but its AT Utep, and memphis blows.

I forgot about UTEP being 6-6.
We will not be chosen over two teams (UTEP and ECU) as they beat us both.
I think we are [deleted].

We had our chance to Be a bowl team! We failed again!! This scheming to see who needs to lose for us to get into a bowl is a waste of time.

You guys are sort of forgetting about the politics of the bowl committees. This has nothing to do with wins and losses..

Incorrect. My understanding is that the rules stipulate that a team has to have a non-losing record to be bowl-eligible, and ECU could get to the C-USA title game and not make a bowl because of a losing record if they lose to Cougar High.

I think you both have said the same thing.
