man I am just sick. sick for the players, sick for bennett, sick for the fans that went down there. sick for myself. somebody make it stop.
keep the faith ponies, we have no other choice. this team showed more heart than any in a while. that was good to see, even if there is no bowl game to show for it. Justin Willis is a stud, he just didnt have it today. senior class was a good one, best of luck to all of em. the sun will rise tomorrow. I think.

We need a quarterbacks coach for Willis. Sorry, I am not in love with him as most of you are.

He tries to force plays when he should just throw the ball out of bounds

Umm yeah but from Southlake where everyone wants to hire their coach. He is not the quarterback of SMU's future.

Those who can do and those who can't coach or stay on this board all day describing what they think needs to be done. Suit up or shut up? Get on the field and out of the stands where everything looks so easy?? 26 TDs as a freshman, and even the leading rusher I think?? What the fu*k are you talking about. Get some players in here and some fans who know somthing about football, and not the Cox School of Business?

Do you play football for SMU bigdaddy??? I don't know but if not you can shut up too. I was a solid 5 sport athlete in HS and know that if I was given a chance to play for SMU I would and I know that I would give my whole heart to that program and work harder than some of those "athletes" on the team...I passed up a opportunity to wrestle in college to come to SMU. Some of these guys are former SMU players and some know exactly what they are talking about.
Willis is a freshman so he is going to make mistakes but he has donehis best so far and has given us a good run at a bowl bid this year.

Justin had a bad game yesterday but watching him in previous games you would never know he's a freshman. He unfortunately reverted to freshman tendancies in perhaps the season's most important game. For example, holding the ball too long, not throwing out of bounds once the play broke down and making desperation throws while being sacked. He is still a great QB and will have a great career at SMU.
