Hey fellas,

I am an ASU fan, and looking forward to seeing yall in Jonesboro next year.... So when I came across this article about your head coach I thought i would post the link. Not intending to flame or anything, but I can see that there is quite a bit of discussion about whether to retain PB or not and I thought I would add one more piece. The PB part is at the bottom.

At least it is the national press and not the usual collection of Ponyfans.com faithful claiming to have inside info.

I generally think Tom Deinhart does a commendable job, but does anyone else find it hard to believe when he mentions Patterson, Leach and Kragthorpe for the Miami job? Honestly, Kragthorpe is the only one I see fitting there.

Leach or Patterson will not be coaching in Miami next fall. Kragthorpe has a good shot but still outside possibility. I get the feelign that there are still a few names ahead of his on the list.

Wouldn't Miami, like Alabama, prefer to bring in one of thier own? That connection is huge at schools like that.

That's what I would think. Defensive coordinator Randy Shannon has gotten a lot of mentions, and there's a lot of talk that they're going hard after Auburn's Tommy Tuberville (a former Miami assistant), even though he has said he's staying where he is.

Miami tried bringing in one of their own after Davis left. Honestly, I have a hard time believing that Randy Shannon isn't one of the top three DCs in college football. However, not sure how that translates to being HC and not sure that Miami is ready to give that a shot again.

Patterson is probably the best D coach out there...
