I hope he puts in a dive play to the tailback with a blocking back in front.

Then we will go 6-6 again next season. Giving PB yet another year without a winning record/bowl and we will contemplate his future yet again.

Wow. You obviously have not played sports at a high level jt. That is just a stupid idea.

I honestly think that the team didn't get the results this year but actually played better football than I have seen in the past. He has recruited a different type of player to SMU and that is great to see.

That said, I think at best he will be a middle of the league coach and I don't think that is what we need around here. I think we could have PB be our coach for the next 20 years and no one is going to try and poach him from us. I personally want the guy that every year we are on this forum freaking out that some BCS/big money school is going to come in and sweep him up from us.

I hope the very best for PB and will yell my lungs out next year for him and the ponies if he is still at the helm. However, I think at this point in his career, he has taken us as far as he can. (If we could move him to DC and put in a Shula or Coker above him, I might have to cry with excitement).
