He is my choice. A big time winner. Exciting offense. Every Texas high school player knows his name. We would get his son for QB. Houston hired a former high school coach and they are going to bowl games. It can work.

Every Texas high school player knew Phil Bennett's name, too. Forgot about his brother already? Worked great for us didn't it?

We don't need a high school coach trying to learn how to be a head coach in the college arena. By the way, his son is 5'10" and maybe a buck fifty five........

He also is a state champ and a winner. No comparison with Bennett's brother and Dodge. Nice try.

The NTSUers are convinced we are firing Bennett just so we can hire Dodge away from them.

C'mon people. Dodge is the worst option of anyone mentioned on this board. I like Charlie "Burgerhouse" Waters better.

Sheesh. Highschool HC to College HC is entirely too big a jump to take between levels.

He has college experience.

How about Dodge for OC/Assistant Head Coach?

Not advocating, just pointing out that Dodge was the OC at NTSU for a couple of years.

No worries blog, I know you're not crazy.

I actually like the idea of Dodge for OC.

I'm telling you, there is no coach that I know who knows how to coach the QB position better than him. I would love to have him. He can gameplan with anyone. And he does a great job of letting his defensive coaches do their jobs.

And I'll tell you this, he is respected nationally. Every winter he is asked to speak at college events, such as LSU, Missouri and so forth.

For those of you against the HS coach, don't dismiss this.

Come on guys, can we stop with this Dodge crap already? How many years did we go after "up and comers" with no results? Luckily, you are not making the decision, Orisini is. This man knows how to win - by finding proven winers. Should we have skipped on Doherty and gone with a high school bball coach? Wake up.
