and its tough to say for sure since his contract his not public information like most of the coaches in the country since it's a private school... im sure there is a buyout strategy in the contract from when they did the extension

Think about this Arkansas fired Nolan Richardson and paid him 500k for the next 5 years to sit at home and hold court. What was the contract extention and how long? We cannot afford to pay PB to sit at home and another HC? Wiping your [deleted] before you take the [deleted]??

There are former UT coaches still on the payroll. I like Bennett one more year for him. I will forgive his handshake promise we would beat UNT.

His FIRST contract was prob. guaranteed...but his second 'extension', the one he got after the wonderful 3-9 season, was probably NOT. Do you think Copeland was THAT dumb?

don't you recall that he got it right before signing day?

Right, because that isn't what happened when Bennett got the job.

For that matter there is something else that has been bugging me on this board.

Lose - We are going to lose.
Loss - The Oklahoma State game was a horrific loss.
Lost - We lost the game.
Loose - Your sister is really loose.

These words are not interchangeable.
