2007 Football Opponents

Postby tbmustangs » Mon Nov 27, 2006 3:22 pm

Is the 2007 football scheduled set? I've heard folks mention the following non-conference opponents: TCU, Texas Tech, and Baylor. Are these non-conference games correct? Are there any others?

I think we play TCU, Ark. State, the College and University of North Texas, and Baylor. I don't think we play the Sand Aggies next year.

I think we dropped Baylor for Arkansas State plus, add NTSU. So our 4 OOC games are TCU, Texas Tech, Arkansas State and North Texas. We start conference play 2-2.
Just send 'da money.

OK I thought we learned this year not to count ANY road game as an easy win. JONESBORO Arkansas could be serving the poisoned cool-aid.

If in fact SMU dropped Baylor-and not the other way around, then SMU just sucks. Have some damn balls. We deserve the yawning indifference of our alumni. The fans of both schools want this game to be played. We could care less about Arkansas Polytechnic. Why don't we just join the Sun Belt and put us out of our misery.

Is it @ ttech or vs. ttech? There seems to be conflicting information out there.

The Tech game is in Dallas, at least that is what Texas Tech's press release announcing their 2007 schedule said.

Next year, SMU plays So. Miss, UCF and Memphis; most likely, SMU plays So. Miss and UCF on the road and Memphis at home. Finally, home against Tulane, Rice, UTEP; on the road against Houston and Tulsa.
