Why has Michael Irvin not been fired for his "racial" comments on Dan Patrick's radio show, or at least had his comments/actions discussed ad naseum???

cause nobody listens to Dan Patrick therefore his words were as a tree falling in the forest with nobody around.

He said Romo must have some black blood in him somewhere way back.
Paraphrased, but he went on a riff along those lines.

haha. That's not racist. People are so sensitive these days. You make a racial statement and it's automatically racist. This country is dumb.

I agree that people are too sensitive. But you know as well as I do, if it was flipped around and Dan Patrick had said that Byron Leftwich must have some white blood in him because he stands in the pocket and throws, the country would be up in arms.

I wouldn't be. I'd laugh and move on. But then again, I'm pretty immune to offense. About the only thing that offends me is stupidity/ignorance, but most of that I ignore too because there's just not enough time in one day to worry about all of that.

Thanks to genetic testing, I now know that I have two minority race genes and one majority race gene. Upon telling my employer about my genetic makeup, he became ecstatic. It seems I now fit a minority quota that the company was worried about filling. Irving comments may be closer to the truth than we like to believe. One could hazard a guess that many of us are not the pure bloods we currently believe that we are. Irving was probably trying to toss out a compliment to Romo.

That's only offensive for the white people who don't want Tony Romo to have black blood in him.
Its Michael Irvin, EVERYONE knows he says crazy comments. He was the TO of the 1990s. kinda...

What Irvin said was about 1/100 as bad as what Richard did, however, I agree that there is a double standard in society today
