A University Park resident. Does have a football background with the spouse. And would be able to get the player's attention.

I say go for it.

well.. she's got history on her side.. she went for it with several HP football players and soccer players back in the day.

Of course.. why not get Paige Davis to be OC if we're going down this avenue?

Used to live in Aliso, then Laguna Niguel (was out there for nearly 7 years). Moved back to Texas in March '05.

Was back out to see the in-laws & wife's family over Turkey Day in San Clemente & Capo Beach. What's up with the evergreen trees along Pacific Park from La Paz to Aliso Creek. Everything is dead or dying.
Ladera has grown up a lot. Wow. I knew it was coming on, but it's more congested than Aliso and took less time to get there.

BTW, you are indeed correct. There are a lot of SMU alum out there, and alumni functions tended to get some play (especially the B-school), but it was nowhere near the numbers that could've shown up. Part of it, I think, is drive time. There is a house in Nellie Gail overlooking the 5 between Oso & Crown Valley that around Sept/Oct hangs their SMU flags up. I met the folks around Halloween a couple of years ago. Their daughter attends SMU...should be a senior by now, I think. My oldest son (9) even played Pop Warner with a kid whose mom was at SMU four or five years ahead of me. I guess my point is why don't all of you hook up for a beer. I met LA Mustang that way in Long Beach.

could be fun. my girlfriend lives in laguna and we have friends here, LA, and SD. Is there an SMU OC Alumni club or something? I've never heard or seen anything like that.

There used to be. You probably have to get a hold of the alumni office on the Hilltop. I declined to take it over several years ago when the chair who was doing it (a former student...not even a full alum) needed to reliquish her duties. I was too busy with work, and I think that is the main problem with doing it. Most people do not have a lifestyle conducive to it. Last I heard, some fellow on Lido Island was chairing it.

Hey, SMUtrojanFAN and jkfamebo...... I've got tickets to the USC/UCLA game this week-end (fullfill life-long dream of watching a football game in the Rose Bowl). Know of any places to hang out prior to the game in Pasadena ??
