Do we need a chage there? Thoughts?

I dunno. Do you have any spare chage?

I am more concerned about the defense than the offense. We gave up too many 3rd down and 15+ yard situations. Many cost us games and many kept games too close for comfort. Eliminate the poor 3rd down defense, and we have a much better team even holding all other variables equal.

i dunno...im worried about the offense...

2 first and goal with only field goals

and only 2 of 14 third down conversions...pitiful

What's wrong with the offense? For once SMU actually scores points. Agreed that defense is the big problem. The CBs will get better b.c they're young. But they got burned quite a bit this year.

There will be no significant staff changes.

Went into halftime with 24 points in both the UH and Rice games respectively. Finished the game with 27 points and losses in both the UH and Rice games respectively. Yet you see nothing wrong with the offense?

well im not saying the players are the problem...but when you put up 24 points in one quarter and 3 in the other three there is a problem

I saw that you were questioning the play calling and coaches puttingplayers in a position to succeed. I agree with you. I was questioning the guy who thinks we score plenty enough points, without looking at how or when we scored them and in what situations. I really think if he feels like no work is needed on the offensive side of the ball that he simply did not see this team play.

Get a guy who can be creative and put points on the board. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Unless the D is amazing next year, the only way we're going to win is by scoring lots and lots of points EVERY GAME. Open the playbook. Fire Burns.
