I talked to a friend of mine, who is close to an Alabama alum. The alum "claimed" The Tide has hired Tulsa coach Steve Kragthorpe. The timing is a little suspicious since David Shula was just let go on Monday.

If you know of anything, lend a hand. Couldn't find anything to confirm it.

So as soon as we dismiss the rumors of the firings of our coach, we start gossiping about Tulsa's coach. Priceless.

If you noticed, I put "" around claimed. I'm not buying it either but since a lot of people have friends, somebody may know something. I don't really care.

Besides, this is no different than the bogus footballscoop.com or the Des Moines register said everything pointed to CMU coach Brian Kelly to take over at Iowa State when it turned to be Gene Chizik.

And you guys like a good rumor just like anybody else, so drop the high and might act!
