As much as we could use another solid QB, im sure he'll choose RICE over SMU being that he could start as a True Freshman, have Dillard as a receiver (if he stays for his SR. year), and be coached by the Major himself.

But i could be wrong, would have to wait a year after Redshirting with us to play after Willis leaves....

He's going to have a tough time starting at Rice-they have two 3 stars waiting in the wings including Allen's Nathan [deleted] who has had a great year too-last time I checked he hadn't thrown an interception all year.

They have Pierre Beasley waiting, too -- not sure how good he is, but he's big, strong, pretty fast .... that's a good start, if nothing else.

I heard that Nathan [deleted] has now been offered by OU. Let me see, OU or Rice.

I think [deleted] will stick with his Rice committ. I have no big time sources or anything, just a feeling.

do you think smu give two [deleted] about this kid, or just wants his dad on the staff?

"My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend saw him pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

Name that flick...

Arkansas is still courting him also. If Casey can stay ahead of Mustain (which I do not think that will happen) he might follow his brother. But I think Mustain would have to give up and transfer. And from the sounds of things here, Mustain may make a quick appearance against Florida.

Are you suggesting that 3-for-17 against LSU is not a way to keep your starting spot?

I could swear I read someplace that some coach -- don't remember if it was high school or college -- said Riley Dodge is such a good athlete he could play "a number of positions" in college. As memory serves, slot WR and CB were mentioned, as well as QB.
If he's still a junior in HS, isn't it safe to assume he's still growing, too?

Agree...

Hello everyone - new guy here, live in Dallas, hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Okay, since I am new, dont bag on me too hard lol! I have been an SMU fan for a very long time, and the state of SMU Football being what it is, well, not real good, but it is heading in the right direction, patience patience patience, took OU YEARS to recover from mistakes, JMO....

Dont think SMU is gonna get a hot shot QB for a couple years, I saw a couple home games this year, and Willis looks pretty good, he's only gonna get better. That might prevent, a top flight QB from coming for at least another year, why would they come here and sit? I think thats the only position on the team thats gonna grade well nationally, and thats a good thing IMO.

Except that his dad is only 5'10, and he is not around 5'10...
