No press is bad press, right?

From Pat Forde on ESPN.com
"The Tide's next coach will be the eighth in the last 25 years and the fifth this century. Nobody -- not even the bottom-feeding, revolving-door, dead-end schools like SMU, UNLV, UTEP, Utah State, San Jose State and so forth -- has gone through five coaches as fast as Alabama."
Funny, a few weeks ago he was singing the praises of the revival SMU was in the midst of. At least he mentioned us first.

How can a bowl-eligible team, a team that has gone to 2 bowls in consecutive years, and a team going to a bowl this year be bottom-feeding?

A friend of mine who is an FSU grad sent me this link earlier today and commented that, even though it was bad press, he felt like he had read quite a bit about SMU lately. IMO, Forde is off the mark on his comment about Alabama and about SMU.
