I think a school should have to win its conference championship to play in the BCS championship game; Florida's the right choice.

amen to that - also the fact that lsu is not a divisional chapion playing in the sugar bowl bothers me

BSU did it as well...without a loss. Guess the lore that the BSC schools are beyond challange will continue.

you know, I think more would have been said in support of Boise St had that not gone to Athens and had their [deleted] handed to them a year ago. For the non-BCS conference schools...and even the lessers (a la Rutgers) or <gasp> TCU, a move could be made over a two-year period. Had Boise State gone to Georgia and won last year, then had a 10-1 year, then 12-0 this year and possibly another win over a BCS school, they may have had a shot...or at least have been in the discussion.
