Did anyone else get an email this week from Bobby Chase about him going to work in his family-owned business? Just wondering...
Bobby is a great guy who has represented SMU well and will continue to do so in the business world. I wish him the best.

The guy has the size for the NFL. I'm sure he could get a free agent try out.

Gotta say I love Bobby Chase and will always be a fan of him. But are you kidding me!? Kid was an off and on starter in his senior year at SMU but you think he has a shot at making the NFL? WOW.

I absolutely love guys with his work ethic...he made our team better. Period.
...and if he had a better WR coach and game plan, probably should have run in the slot and let Givens play outside...then he would have had mismatches in heighth and been closer to speed.
But, he really wasn't our #1 or #2 best WR ever.

He's been terrific. I'll never forget his touchdown catch at UAB, and I assume none of you will, either.
Good luck, Bobby!

One of the greatest moments for me in SMU football history. I will always remember where I was when Rich & Craig went nuts calling that play on the radio!

He also provided the only good moment from the aTm game last year as well. That long touchdown catch and run against the aggies was a thing of beauty and actually would have tied us if we hadn't botched the extra point.

Yup
I wonder what Craig would've been like as Kern Tipps' sidekick on
one of Dennis Partee's last second field goals

or in 1982 with SMU ranked #1 in the nation, Bobby Leach takes a cross the field pass and returns a last second kickoff against TX Tech in Lubbock 92 yards to win the game. I still get excited when I remember that return.

question for phire phil bennet...why do you always bash the coaches...how can you come off saying that its the receiver coaches fault..? There have been few drops by any receivers ive seen in the past couple years...but its the receiver coaches fault? Looking at the profile of Larry Edmondson, he has coached at alot more succesful programs than SMU so i really dont think you know what your talking about...you get the shut the hell up award for that one.
